I Hate the Blue Angels

...and so does Emily. If I want to go to an air show, I'll go to one. If I want to walk my dog, I should be permitted to do so without feeling like I've walked into a bad Bay Area replay of 9/11. I am not unpatriotic, but honest to God, they can't think of anything better to do with the fuel than this?

After one of the jets went by over head close enough that I could read the numbers on the wings, Emily slinked along, right next to my knee, with her ears flat as tiny dog pancakes. Grrr.
