The new furnace is in, a day earlier than expected. And... wow. Rather than an occasional **whoosh** of hot air, everything is just a nice, even 68°. Everywhere in the house. And it's run and scheduled from the inevitable app. There are many things in the future to deplore, but this is nice.

Happy new furnace!

(Mine declined to start at the beginning of the winter. A quick visit by the home service people and a replacement part got it working again, but it was yellow-tagged by the repair people for arcane reasons, and I may have a new one in my future.)

The technology has moved lightyears ahead. Danny kept telling me all about it, and I was reduced to nodding and saying Uh-huh. As upgrades go, pretty cool.
