madrobins: It's a meatloaf. Dressed up like a bunny. (citibit)
[personal profile] madrobins
I was raised in the south end of the Northeast (which is to say, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts). At this time of year back home, 50 degrees would be close to short-sleeve weather. But after more than a decade in San Francisco, 50 degrees feels frigid. And there have been high winds--like 50-70 mph winds--which does not help.  Last night on the news, I got to hear the weather person explaining the concept of "wind-chill factor" to the local audience, which would have made me feel o! so superior, if I hadn't been huddled up in a shawl.

I am a wimp. And the sunroom is poorly insulated.
