madrobinsI just got an email from Amazon suggesting, based on my past purchases, that I might like to subscribe to their "Vinyl Delivery" newsletter. We are not talking about upholstery or Courreges boots. The slogan is: "Put the needle in the groove."
I knew there was a vinyl underground, so to speak. But when Amazon gives you your own "store" you have moved sufficiently out of the underground so that you're wearing SPF 30 and sending the cabana boy for another round of Mai Tais. Vinyl overground, maybe?
