madrobinsIt has been unbelievably foggy and cold here in Sunny San Francisco™ for the last few days, and I for one am sick of it. I love crisp and cool, but what we've had of late has been moist and bone-chilling. Feh.
On the other hand, went to The Kid's Back to School Night, where I liked her teachers almost as much as she does, and it was clear they all like her right back. She also has been accepted to the World Affairs Council's Student Ambassador program, about which there has been considerable dancing and Yaying. The girl has college in her laser-like sights, and woe betide anyone who gets in her way. Seriously. I am proud--and a little awed--of her.
And in other news, the Italian Book now has a real name: Sold for Endless Rue, and a real pub date: May, 2013. Waiting to see cover art...
