Because Sarcasm Girl missed four days of school last week (and because she wasn't entirely caught up at that point) she's been slammed with homework this week. It's the big ugly, and last night she had to finish a bunch of stuff, including an essay. At 11pm last night she hit a wall, two pages into the five-page essay, so I suggested she go to bed, get some rest, get up Very Too Early and finish the essay today. She did--but of course, I had to get her up at 4 am to get her up at 4 am. The essay got written, everyone got lunched and breakfasted and sent off to school (SG had two Mocha Frappuccinos, which will probably see her through until she gets home) and I am now sitting here staring into the middle distance, unable to do the reading I need to get done because my eyes keep crossing. Later today, YG has a camp physical. By about 8pm tonight I'm expecting to be officially useless.
