We spent the girls' spring vacation (which started a week ago) in New York, and have only arrived home about an hour ago. Had a splendid time, took the girls to see 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (which is great fun, and charming) and saw many old haunts. Spouse got sick (of course he did. Why wouldn't he?) and spent a couple of the days in NYC lying abed at my aunt's house. I'll write more later, maybe. I'm exhausted beyond the telling of it, but it was a swell time.
