madrobinsThe spirit moved me to make fresh pasta last night: ravioli stuffed with ricotta, pancetta, and reggiano cheese. Next time I will halve the recipe, and add garlic to the filling. Otherwise, all household parties are agreed: Om Nom.
And this morning Emily goes into the dogspital (the vet's) for her operation. The next 6-8 weeks are going to involve a lot of sedatives and strict protocols for restricting her activity. Poor puppy. But then, we are promised, she will be both bionic and better than new. Damned dog.
