madrobinsWith the Spouse out of town Avocado wants to come down and sleep with me. She's almost 15, I'm not sure why this is important to her, except that she seems to think it's like having an in-house slumber party (where I am grumbling at her to give me at least some of the covers and shut up, please). I do not sleep as soundly when she's there, with the result that, after rising, feeding her and making sure she gets out of the house, I am seriously contemplating a pre-emptive nap, on accounta.
