Beyond No Clue

Even thinking about this makes my head explode a little. Via
sdn, the story of a cake maker who made a special birthday cake for a well-loved friend. At the party, mayhem ensued. Which is to say that while everyone else was enjoying the pot-luck dinner and a swim, one guest dismantled the cake, ate some, and left bits of the decorations all around the house. The birthday girl did not get to cut her own damned birthday cake. And (here's the frosting on the cake, so to speak) when the cake-maker, who had made this elaborate cake as her present to the birthday girl, scolded the offender for what she'd done, the woman burst into tears and fled. The Offender's husband came and yelled at the cake-maker for hurting his wife's feelings.
The cake maker in me is screaming in outrage.
The hostess in me is stunned.
The mother who raised her children to be a little better than wolves is speechless.
What the fuck?
