I have the first half of the book almost in the can. Which is to say, I probably need to roll Chapters 7 and 8 together, but it's otherwise in good shape through Chapter 10, and almost 50,000 words. Half the book. Tomorrow (aside from heading back to San Francisco) I will be starting on Part II. There's a book in them thar hills.
