madrobinsI was not here yesterday because I was driving to Tucson! Saw the most wonderful, extraordinary light show (huge thunderstorm, almost all of it in the distance behind a big black brooding cloudbank) as we drove from Phoenix south, but didn't actually hit rain until Tucson itself. It is warm and muggy (more storms promised this afternoon) but there is the niftiest flora outside (all of it prickly but all of it scenic). I am going to read the 137 emails I got yesterday, then go to work on more revisions.
