Ass-Backward Accounting

madrobinsI meant to make my list this morning, but I had too much else to do. But to retain honesty in accounting:
* take Emily to the vet for her annual tire-kicking and vaccinations
* finished the vacuuming*
* about 2300 words of revisions on Chapter 15
* dragging the much punctured dog
* did an hour on the WiiFit
* put in an hour and a half on Freelance Job #1 (indexing and proofreading a technical manual)
* proofed the first 50 pages of the 780 page proofreading job that just came in
It's too late for a drink, but I'm horizontal, with Emily snoring lightly on her bed beside me, and I have the slightly bleary sensation of having been a Good Girl.
* I will never be the sort of vacuumer that my husband is. He combines a fierce attention to detail with a certain malicious pleasure in freaking the dog that works housekeeping wonders.
