madrobinsTomorrow morning we go off to Avocado's Middle School Promotion. She's getting up extra early to straighten her almost-straight hair and then curl it, and make her face up elegantly. She has a new dress and new shoes, and a "dinner dance" in the evening and bonfires on Friday, more or less all day.
And tonight Sarcasm Girl called to tell us her grades for the semester: three As (in Creative Writing, Art History, and Music Theory) and two Bs (in Study Skills and Math). And she likes Math so much she's planning on taking more. The light has gone on, and shines gloriously.
