madrobinsThe majority of Nebulas voting is done online (yay! technology!). However, because some folk are not yet comfortable with (or, implausible as it seems for SF writers, are not on line) we have to send out paper ballots to the entire voting membership, just shy of 1200 people.
If you don't hear from me, I have died of multiple RSIs from folding, inserting, and multiply labeling 1200 ballots. Avocado has risen from her Bed of Pain (ear infection division) and helped a little, but the help of a 14 year old, especially a swooning 14 year old, is not always as helpful as one would wish.
(NOTE: The above is largely hyperbole for the sake of entertainment; I'm almost done, the envelopes go off to the PO this morning, and no body parts have died in the pursuit of SFWAn virtue.)
