Thanksgiving

The turkey went in to the oven only ten minutes later than I had planned.
Avocado is at a sleepover until 10 or 11, thus cutting fown on the ambient craziness.
The Rockettes are doing high kicks in front of Macy*s (or were, three hours ago), and I'm getting lovely aerial views of my old neighborhood.
The sun is shining, which means the dog (shut in all day yesterday) gets to have a good solid run.
Through the miracle of the internet, I applied for a job this morning.
There will be cinnamon rolls soon (made by someone other than me).
I hope everyone of you have things to be joyful and thankful for. This has been an amazing, troubling, triumphant, scary, delightful year--aren't they all? I'm going to make a pie and (later) decorate a wedding cake. Have a delicious day.
