madrobinsThe world appears to think it is going to hell in a handbag, and as there is nothing I can singlehandedly do to make it all better, I am going to take a shower, call the pediatrician to get an appointment for Avocado, who appears to have strep, and then try to get some work done.
And I think I'll stop looking at the newspaper for a few days. It's info-overload time, and if I can't do anything but vote in order to change things, and that not for a few weeks, I do best to keep my nose to the grindstone. There's always dinner to be got, and stories to tell.
