Brush Up Your Frosting

madrobinsNo pictures tonight: we went over all our frosting flowers and learned new ones: chrysanthemums, lilies, lilies of the valley, and daffodils. Also drunken pink elephants (really!) and lace points.
For next week I have to make a layer cake, frosted in a pastel color, and bring Royal icing, as well as 30 Royal icing lace points and 30 Royal icing miniature roses. I expect the resulting cake will be dainty.
