Cake Plannery

Tuesday is the last class of my intermediate cake course, and we're doing a tiered cake. We've all been assigned to make the various layers and bring them in fully frosted. Other than that, we can design the cakes in whatever way we want. I am going fairly traditional: two ten-inch layers and two seven-inch layers, frosted in white. The bottom will have yellow pansies around the side (and maybe some shell-work on the bottom, but I'd rather keep it as simple as possible) and the top layer will have peach-and-yellow basketwork on the sides and a bunch of yellow and white blossoms on the top. The colors were chosen for Avocado, who seems to be on an orange-and-yellow kick. And anyway, I still want to take the advanced decoration course, and I don't want to scare the teacher with my plans for a Zombie Cake...
