Oh, Thanks
7/11/12 07:05To my sister-in-law, who hosted calling parties and worked like a dog for this outcome.
To Becca, who spent 15 hours at the polls (and wrote a 5-page History paper in the quiet moments).
To Julie's beau Joe, who works for the Elections Dept., and has been pulling 15+ hour days for weeks, making sure the election worked, was fair and on the line. (Thanks to his co-workers and fellows across the land.)
To everyone who exercised their right to participate in the process.
And now: no more flyers, no more robo-calls. We can talk about other things. Thanks for that, too.
