Holiday Popcorn

So in the last week I have seen two totally fun popcorn movies: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. They are both clever and ridiculous--I would give the Holmes movie the edge because Robert Downey Jr., and because Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. together having too much fun. But The MI:GP was directed by Brad Bird, the same guy who directed The Incredibles, and it's fun and over the top and...curiously sweet in some ways.
So: whee. Although I have to say, if you're not a fan of heights, MI:GP will sort of turn your bowels to ice in a couple of places.
