Brenda Clough alerted me to The Girls on Film, a web project where they take famously "guy-centric" films and play a scene with women playing the parts. It works really well--even for a film like Fight Club, which is all about masculinity in the modern world. Which suggests to me that there's more going on in that film (and the other two they've done so far) than just boy stuff. The production values are good, very polished looking, and the acting is solid.

Here's their Star Trek scene. The other two they've got up are from Fight Club and The Town. I hope they do more.
