....against my getting any work done. Had Avocado's HS orientation meeting at 8am (!) this morning. Have a spontaneous cake commission to finish. Have dog to walk.

Clearly I need coffee before I can really settle my brains.

Montana Postcard Cake

Yesterday I got a quick-fire cake commission: a birthday cake for a woman from Montana who doesn't like fruit. So: chocolate cake, vanilla frosting, and a fondant "postcard". No jam between the layers, just more frosting.

I hope she (and the commission-er) like it!
