Isn't she cute? This is Julie Murphy, and she sold lemonade at an art fair...until the local health inspectors shut her down. This is apparently old news if you live in Portland, but I just read about it.

I do understand the need for policing food sold from carts, etc. But Avocado had a lemonade stand. I had a lemonade stand. For all I know, the Founding Fathers (let's do bring them in) had lemonade stands. A little sense of proportion in the face of Tradition is a good thing.
