Virtue on Sunday

I have tidied up the garage and taken the dead carpet from the front hall (and all the truly repulsive under-carpet, and the nail-studded railings and stuff) to the dump. Then went into the back yard and tidied there (with last minute help from the Spouse, who washed the house windows today, hero of the Revolution that he is). Avocado has done some bits of work; I ought to insist she do more, but it often takes more effort to make her step up than it seems to be worth. But that's done. I have a mild rash on my arms from whatever it was I was picking up from the backyard, but Benadryl seems to be taking care of that.

Look! It's 5:19. Time for a glass of wine, I think.
