12/2/09 23:08I have been retained to produce a cake for a birthday party next week. Nice, simple sheet cake for a 14 year old boy: yellow cake, butter cream frosting, Hellboy...
Yes, that's right. Hellboy. Since my line-drawing skills are sucky I was not going to try to draw Hellboy in frosting and then charge money for it. So I've been playing with fondant, and I think tonight I finally got my hellspawn mojo going. It's not done yet: I need to touch up some bits--define the jaw line and stuff like that. But really: ain't he sweet and demonic?
Tomorrow I am bringing a cake for a Dollhouse premiere party. Photos will doubtless be posted.
