This is where not having a higher level degree really annoys me. I've found an academic paper I really really want to read. It was published in England, but the only citation I can find is on a catalogue page for the Instituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico delle Biblioteche Italiane e per le Informazione Bibliografiche. I have just enough Italian to know that trying to order a copy of the paper from them will probably not work out well for me. Is there some other way one can find a paper under these circumstances? It was published at Mary and Westfield College, and I've looked over their website, but can't quite divine where one might order pamphlets and publications.

Me so outclassed.

Now that my daughters are large, I have no socks.

When Sarcasm Girl wants to borrow a piece of my clothing she asks. Except about socks. Avocado is still too narrow and petite to borrow much from me. Except socks. They both should have socks enough--God knows I buy them for them. But I frequently catch one of them stalking out of my room with a pair of my socks furtively held down at her side, as if I wouldn't see. Avocado in particular tends to shed socks all over the house; I find them hidden behind chairs, under her father's desk, like mushrooms under her bed. Mostly unmatched, of course.

Which is why I have no socks. Because they keep "borrowing" them.

Tonight the Spouse found a pair of socks inside the piano. Not under, not behind. Inside. I'm trying to figure out who to kill. All I know is, it's a female, and it isn't the dog.
