The kitchen is almost done. The electrician has to come in tomorrow to put in the new outlets and wire the under-cabinet lights, then the inspector has to come and bless it. Some moldings need to be painted. The drawer and door pulls, ordered on Saturday, have to arrive and be put in, and the decorative top-of-the-cabinets stuff has to be put in too. But otherwise, it's a kitchen. (And the sunroom, painted a soft green, needs some painting on the molding and a new sweep for the garden door and we're done there, too.)
Except: our new refrigerator doesn't work. The repairman came today, took a look, said he could order a new master control board and see if that helped, but he wouldn't know if it did until he replaced it, and... this on a week-old fridge.
So we've called the place whence it was purchased, and told them we want a new one, thanks. Come and take this one away. "I'll call my rep," the nice lady said.
We'll see how that goes.
