Just Too Good to be True

I know that people will identify him with Brokeback Mountain, and that's as it should be. But for me Heath Ledger will always be the grinning kid dashing across the bleachers two steps ahead of campus security, singing "You're Just Too Good to be True" to Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You. Ledger was talented and charming and had the gift of stillness which he used to good effect. His loss is great.
