madrobins: It's a meatloaf. Dressed up like a bunny. (Default)
Look, I understand about entropy. What I don't get is why everything is breaking down at the same time. A standing lamp in the living room has snapped off at its base (no one--child, dog, or adult--seems to know how this could have happened, which means that someone does but isn't telling). The blender (a year old) is acting weird. My high-tech coffee grinder (1 1/2 years old) has died--this last is really a trial, as anyone who had seen the spectacle of me trying to break up sufficient coffee beans in a Ziploc bag with a hammer to yield a decent cup of coffee would know. The resultant muck was undrinkable. And I have some sort of soft-tissue injury to my right wrist which either doesn't hurt at all, or hurts like hell, suddenly and unpredictably.

Permit me to say: AAAARRRRGHH!

I'm going out to get a cup of coffee. Then I'm buying a new coffee grinder. Pfui.
