klages picks me up and we take a flight to Austin (by way of Houston) for Armadillocon, where there will be many cool people and much fun will be had. I'm doing a couple of panels, one on archetypal heroes and villains and one on, of all things, Lost; plus, I'm doing a reading on Sunday morning (when all sane people are decently abed). The reason for the far-too-early-in-the-morning flight is that one could either get to Austin at 2pm (by taking a 6am flight) or one could get there at 8pm. Nothing in-between. So I expect to need a nap on Thursday afternoon.
In the meantime I've got writing and errands today. And I'm leaving the iBook in the shop today (a sleeping issue) so if you don't hear from me, it isn't that I don't love you, I'm just going radio silence.
ETA: well, I'm leaving the iBook at home, but it didn't get into the shop today. Both Mac stores I went to were completely booked all day long, thronged with people. So, maybe next week, before I head for NYC.
