When did the term "au jus," meaning "with the juice," become a noun? As in "our roast beef sub is served with pan-roasted au jus."
I'd write a cranky note, but I don't want a reasoned PR response, I want them to stop using the term wrong. And I'm morally certain they won't stop.

ETA: I know. It's been going on for years. But somehow it doesn't irritate me on menus (or else i would never eat Chinese food) the way it does when a national chain advertises on TV. I restate: grump.
