Is This Heaven?

Becca and I spent today at Grinnell. She's still there, staying with a student overnight. We had a marvelous lunch with a Bec-doppleganger (they're both poll-sci/sociology nuts, both JSA and mock trial people, both seriously into gender studies), then went to an informational meeting where she was the only "prospie," or prospective student. Then I went on a tour while she went to a class ("Mom, it was SO COOOOOOL Omigod!"). Then she had her interview. Then we parted, and I am now in a b&b checking my email and resting my feet.
I hope she gets in. It's not only a gorgeous campus with a bunch of nice people on it, but it's just about the perfect match for her.
Of course, there's still Macalester and Carleton to look at.
Meanwhile: wonder where I should go for dinner?
