**hack** redux

madrobinsSecond bout of bronchitis this calendar year. I have had antibiotics; I am not technically sick at this point: I just have this really boring hacking cough that makes me sound like a really aggressive, down-market Marguerite Gautier.
Oddly enough, I find cough drops help (since I cannot take anything with detromethorphan, and the doctor won't give me the lovely codeine cough syrup). When I go to bed, I go with a sugar-free cough drop lodged in the roof of my mouth. It releases just enough syrupy goo so that the tickle that presages the *hack* is assuaged.
But really, I need a new hobby.
