As near as we can tell, today is Emily's birthday.

The Book View Cafe authors are delighted to welcome our newest author members...the Walking Dead!

This morning I started making buttercream frosting for Sarcasm Girl's birthday cake (about which more, on another rock).
June
I have had a perfectly splendid Wiscon, but finished up with a queasy stomach.
July
Via jaylake: the first photo of a planet outside our solar system. So. Very. Cool.
August
Went to an antique fair this morning (after I did a morning's worth of work, so I am full of some sort of rather sweaty virtue), where I found the edition of A Little Princess that I first read as a child--with the gorgeous illustrations that were burned into my head at that time.
September
Fifty eight email messages. Do I even know that many people?
October
Yesterday, when I called home, Avocado told me she'd stayed late for what she called "White People's Club."
November
At the Columbus airport, waiting for my flight to Phoenix, thence home.

I may have sold another Meviel story!
Not a year of vast excitement, but not a year of Big Awful, either. Bye, 2010!
