madrobinsI got up early enough to attend the SFWA Business Meeting, which was quick, informative, and enjoyable. No one threw any furniture, and my overall impression is that the organization is doing good things. I delivered (as deputy) the treasurer's report, had some coffee, and am now free, for certain values of free, until this evening when, in addition to parties and such, my brother is driving up for dinner from Cinncinnati. Since Columbus is, in fact, closer to Cinncinnati than San Francisco is, it makes sense, but even so, a three hour drive in the name of siblinghood is heroic.
