madrobinsAs of this morning, 18 chapters, 419 pages, 89,000 words.
And of course, after talking with people in my workshop, I have to go back to the beginning and tear some things up to, like, make the characters more real and stuff. It's going to make the book much better. In fact, I'm not sure how I could have missed what needed doing there, except that I've been so focused on the getting of the story down. But every time I think I'm out they draaaaaaag me back in again.
I have three more chapters to revise at the end. Then I'll start at the beginning. Dig we must!
