After going through the alarmingly thorough Red Cross Babysitting course last week, Avocado is out at her first sitting job this afternoon, for a four year old girl (who was wearing a Disney Princess dress when A arrived). She brought her babysitter kit (first aid supplies, flashlight, vinyl gloves in case of toxic spills, tissues, hand sanitizer, notebook for important numbers etc.) and a brave heart. I think she's totally jazzed about this, if for no other reason than it means she can get some money of her own towaste spend on makeup, clothes, and other ephemera of teenagerhood.
Next thing you know, she'll be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
