[personal profile] madrobins
A year's worth of first-lines in first-posts of the month. I'm not sure they tell a story; maybe they do.

January
And twenty days until we have a new president.

February
After ::mumblety-embarrassing-long-time:: away, I went back to the gym today.

March
If anyone had told me three years ago that I would someday have the following exchange with Sarcasm Girl, I n would have trembled between gratitude and disbelief.

April
Today, more as an experiment than anything else, I took BART to South San Francisco, to go to Costco.

May
I have a Dreamwidth account now, where I am (quel suprise) Madrobins.

June
I've taken to doing Morning Pages again, as a way to jumpstart non-critical writing flow (by which I mean "flow of writing about which I don't second guess every other word").

July
A new product was listed with coupons on an email from our usual grocery store: Betty Crocker's "Suddenly Salad." (Actually, it's "Suddenly Pasta Salad," but that doesn't scan as well.)

August
(500) Days of Summer is a perfect little film.

September
The Current Book is in three sections, by design, telling the stories of three different participants in the story

October
Avocado has decided to drop Chorus.

November
BOOK VIEW CAFÉ LAUNCHES ROCKET BOY AND THE GEEK GIRLS!

December
Once again I am looking for a job. In a desultory God-I-Hate-Looking-For-A-Job sort of way, but still.

And how was your year?
