Avocado and I are returned from St. Louis. I am tired. It was cold and damp, but the kids were great (really; I was one of the reigning adults at the kids' table at the Team Dinner, and they were funny and interesting. And there was steak, and I had a margarita the size of a bathtub, so it was all good), I got to know the names of some of the parents, and in a few cases, some f their stories, and both teams placed third. For a national competition, not bad.

I'll explain more tomorrow, but right now I'm just weeding out my email inbox and checking in here and there.
