Back at Christmas we were given a hard-cider kit, and for the last two weeks it's been fermenting its sweet little head off on my kitchen counter. I am now awaiting the bottles I ordered (which, by some Amazonian alchemy, were to be shipped for 2-day delivery and are arriving in 6...I hope the delay does not harm the cider) so that I can bottle it. After which we give it two weeks to age and then can sample. If this works, we have enough cider-appropriate yeast to make two more batches before replenishment is required.
