What Is That Stuff?

It's raining, for the first time in six weeks. December, January, February, and maybe a bit of March is our typical rainy season, when we store up wetness for use the rest of the year, and there's been a lot of concern over a dry spell that has lasted since Christmas eve, because drought.  Emily, who believes that the universe works best when it runs for her convenience, will be distraught to find that outside offers only The Wet Place for the next couple of days.

The rest of us are relieved and pleased.
