As You Know, Bob: I'm participating in the Clarion Write-a-Thon. My goal is 10,500 words (roughly two chapters) but, of course, I'm hoping to do even better. And already I've got a pledge (well, my own, on the theory that putting my money where my manuscript is is a good thing) and some donations. But there's always room for more...
In other news: I'm back on Weight Watchers again. First stop: the Farmers' Market, for quantities of fruit and veggies.
And in other, other news, we went to see Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which was lovely. Rather quiet, and not quite a rom-com (it has a very mixed happy ending: the world does, in fact, end). But...charming and sweet and affecting. At least our crew felt that way. And I keep forgetting that I like Steve Carrell--he has a great gift for stillness which is a wonderful character definer.
