Reminder (as if you all needed reminding):

On Saturday, October 29, if you're in the neighborhood, come to Plus One Press's book launch party for The Sleeping Partner and Tales from the House Band. There will be a Q & A, possibly some reading, lots of books for sale, and food and drink and jollity.

It's at the Town and Country resort in San Diego, in one of the Lanai Suites near the pool, from 3-5pm.

I'll also be doing a panel on Saturday night at 10pm: Don't Open That Door!: The Role Of Stupidity In Genre Fiction
Face it, a lot of characters would never get into the situations they do if they didn’t do something foolish. And where would horror be if people didn’t get that urge to wander off on their own? How far can we illustrate the urge to ignore common sense and wisdom without compromising the suspension of disbelief in the plot and characters?

If you see me, say hi. But definitely, come help launch The Sleeping Partner!
