Barring actual disbursements, I've finished the second quarter royalties accounting for Book View Café (everyone does volunteer jobs--this is mine). The business is growing, which is wonderful--except that as it grows it gets more complex, and I have to keep juggling iguanas as I tapdance. However, it's only four days four times a year: a flurry of anxiety and swearing, after which my bit in the barrel is done. I suppose that's a good thing.

Now to proof-read something without numbers.

Book View Café is pleased to present Vonda McIntyre's The Adventure of the Field Theorems, A Sherlock Holmes Scientific Romance. Given that I love Vonda's work and am a dedicated fan of Holmes, this might have been written for me, but you can read it too!
In which Sir Arthur Conan Doyle hires Mr Sherlock Holmes to investigate crop circles, and Dr Watson demonstrates to Holmes that astronomy does have a useful function in Holmes' universe.
