Don't bother me with your reason, logic, or common sense. I'm being creative." --Seymour Robins

Dad died in the small hours (eastern time) this morning. He was surrounded by people who took good care of him--and frankly, the last few days had been a struggle, harder for him than for those of us around him. He has gone, as he used to put it, to the Great Design Studio in the Sky, where I'm sure there is a drafting table ready and many sharpened pencils and markers ready.

He was a graphic designer; a thinker; fiercely curious about the world around him; an inventor; a storyteller; funny; generous; honorable. He was a mensch. He had a great run, enjoyed almost every bit of it, and will be missed by many many friends, and his family, including emphatically his daughter.. Not a bad legacy.
