I'm revising The Sleeping Partner, preparatory to throwing it at a couple of Beta readers, then at the head of my spandy new editor. When I finished the draft I was fairly despair-y about some things tying together. But now, as I go through (and I revise as I retype, because that lets me catch stuff that might be of use later, or might throw gum into the works) I'm finding that a) it isn't as awful as I thought, and b) it's all coming much clearer in my head.

Every time I write a book I forget that, really, it's not going to make much sense until I start revisions. Every time. I should really tie a string round my finger or something.
