One Step Forward...
6/1/11 08:36Avocado, as I mentioned, got a 4.0 on her final first semester grade. Like: wow. And over our mini-vacation she decided she loves loves loves LA and wants to go to UCLA, for which I say: Go her.
The dark side: once she finished the fall semester she threw out all her class notes, on the blithe assumption that she'd been there, done that, and would need the space for this semester's notes. With the unhappy result that the kid has spent the last couple of days recreating certain parts of her Geometry notes in the process of completing her homework.
