Thus We Progress
7/9/10 12:42I am running out of bad footpuns.
Went to see the foot doctor this morning. He is pleased with the condition of my foot (first time I've seen it in the flesh, as it were, since it emerged from surgery) and told me I could reduce the icing some, although the more I ice, the less it swells. I am exhausted from the meagre activity of going to the doctor's and back. Still unwilling to chance the front hall stairs on crutches--I scoot up and down on my butt like a four-year-old--but otherwise got around okay. Now I'm considering whether I want to blow off work for a few hours and just doze.
Next week I go back to have the stitches removed and an X-ray taken. Oh, the glorious cycle of fun that is mine!
And Emily had her first group dog-walk playgroup today. Must have been fun, because after her arrival home (when she had to bark bark bark) she is now sound asleep and snoring. Even the proximity of the crutches doesn't seem to have fazed her.
