3/9/10 19:45While the foot itself is fitfully uncomfortable, I'm also distracted by the achesnpains of other muscles which are doing compensatory work. Like my right thigh, which is literally doing the heavy lifting of not only the leg, but the SUV Boot (which weighs the earth and throws the expected balance off something fierce). Or my arms, which are building up to crutching about the house. About six months ago I fell on Avocado's stairway and caught myself with my right arm, and there's a muscle somewhere up around the biceps that wasn't entirely happy before this, and is now looking up at me and squinting as if to say "No, really? And for how long?"
Nothing horrible. It's just interesting to me how all the bits fit together. Except, of course, when they don't...
